Farrell C. Shiver is a previous
Editor of the Journal of the American Society of Questioned
Documents. The JASQDE is a peer-reviewed
publication of the American Society of Questioned Document
Examiners. It is an internationally recognized journal on
the topic of Forensic Document Examination. Mr. Shiver was
the Editor of the Journal during the years 2000 to 2004.
Mr. Shiver had previously served
as Assistant Editor. He had also served on the Editorial Review Board
since the inception of the journal. Mr. Shiver served on
the Journal Committee during the planning stage of the journal.
The Journal of the American
Society of Questioned Document Examiners was first published in
June, 1998. It is published semiannually in June and
December.
Articles have been submitted to
the journal from forensic document examiners in the United
States, Canada, and other countries from around the world.
Articles submitted to the JASQDE are peer-reviewed by the
ASQDE's Editorial Review Board. Only articles that have
passed the scrutiny of the Editor and the Editorial Review Board
are selected for publication.
